About Jeff
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jeff Lawrence has had the fortunate to have never really had to leave the area during his radio career. It all began when he was young and still in high school when WMEX DJ Bud Ballou approached him at a school dance and asked Jeff if he wanted a job, after winning all his prizes with his contests! Jeff started at WMEX and worked all over Boston with stops at WBCN, WVBF, WCGY playing Blue Suede Radio and then Superhits. Later he headed north to New Hampshire to play Oldies at Cool 95.3 in Portsmouth, followed by a stint at the Oldies station Cool 96.5 in Manchester, and back down to Boston’s Oldies 103.3. In 2016 Jeff got a call from 680 WRKO to host a Saturday Night Oldies Party and he helped put together their 50th Anniversary spectacular, bringing back all the originals DJs! Now Jeff’s come full circle, BACK where I started at 1510 WMEX! And it feels like home! Join Jeff for ALL the fun and frivolity with ALL the Good Guys playing the Greatest Hits of ALL Time – 1510 WMEX!
