Randy Newman’s 1983 album, Trouble in Paradise, is set to get an expanded reissue, featuring previously unreleased recordings.
Dropping Oct. 17, the two-CD collection will feature a newly remastered version of the album, which contains Randy’s iconic song “I Love L.A.” It will also include 13 previously unreleased tracks, including demos for “Christmas in Cape Town” and “My Life Is Good.” It also includes the demo for “Big Fat Country Song (Something To Sing About),” a song that evolved into “I Love L.A.”
The second disc will feature a live-in-studio concert, Un Samedi En Décembre, recorded in 1982 for French television, which is getting its first-ever U.S. release.
