Russ started his radio career in the 80s after attending the Northeast Broadcasting School and graduating top of his class. He interned at WRKO and did some work on Channel 7 WHDH as well. He worked on the South Shore at two different radio stations before leaving to start a family. Russ came back to radio and WMEX as Producer for the Morning Show before becoming the host and current driver of the morning bus!

Russ’s taste in music is a great compliment to the WMEX format as he doubles down as the music director after the morning show.
