About the Show

Larry Justice is an original WMEX Good Guy from the 60’s! Larry’s first role at WMEX was in afternoon drive and after some time Larry moved to the helm of morning drive.

Over the years Larry could be heard on WRKO, WBZ and eventually, along with his wife Beverly, Larry purchased WCIB-FM in Falmouth, on Cape Cod, in 1983. That was a station that Ed Perry put on the air, and that was the start of Larry’s relationship with Ed.

After growing Justice Broadcasting to 5 stations in VT, MA, and FL, Larry and Beverly sold the company in the late 90’s and retired to Florida. But Larry’s voice never retired – he continued to voice local, regional and class A network TV and radio commercials, now numbering in the thousands.

When Ed Perry purchased WMEX and contacted Larry to help recreate the original format Larry knew it was time for the Halls of Justice to return to the airwaves once again. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Meet our Producer Ben

Ben-Rab
More About Ben

Benny Rabi has been with the WATD family since 2013, beginning his tenure alongside the legendary sports broadcaster, Bill Wilhelm, calling in scores for high school football games. Eventually Ben became a main contributor on the legendary WATD program “The Sports Exchange,” and soon took over primary play-by-play responsibilities, alongside Brendan Connelly on color commentary, calling Championship high school hockey games from TD Garden’s 9th floor since 2014. Two highlights Ben recalls: the Hanover Indians 2016 Division 3 final win against Algonquin, 5-1, and the 2018 Division 2 final that saw Plymouth South win their first Championship in program history, topping Stoneham 4-3 in an overtime thriller!

Ben is a lead board operator and producer at WATD for several programs including Monday Night Talk, Talk Real Estate with Boston Connect, Veterans Voice Radio, The Dr. Joe Show, Friends with Benefits and more!

Each weekday you’ll hear Ben during The Halls of Justice with the legendary Larry Justice on 1510 WMEX. Ben produces and engineers the show, which plays the greatest hits of all time!

Ben’s latest project is talk show host for one of WATD’s newest shows, The People’s Truth, which airs Monday nights at 9 pm.

To top it off, Ben is a youth hockey coach in the Braintree area, is active in the broadcasting media and live events industry and is the owner/operator of Excited Sounds Studios in Weymouth.
