Donations Pour in to Support End Hunger New England’s plan to feed One Million Ukrainians

Pembroke, MA (March 22, 2022) – Ten days after EndHungerNE announced its plan to package and ship up to one-million meals to Ukraine and refugee centers in surrounding countries, the charity announced that its supporters have already funded the first 250,000 meals. Each meal costs $0.35 with a $75 donation providing a case with 216 meals.

Matthew Martin, the organization’s Development Coordinator stated, “The outpouring of support to do something for the people of Ukraine has been simply amazing. Not only has the first container of meals been funded by the generosity of the community, over 200 volunteers packaged meals this weekend at our Pembroke, MA warehouse. We already have 300 signed up to package next weekend and hope to ship the first 250,000 meals early in April!
